Dippy was discovered in Wyoming in 1898, and acquired by the Scottish-American industrialist Andrew Carnegie for his newly-founded Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh . It’s a pretty impressive sight, managed to get a fairly exclusive viewing 🙂
